Free delivery within Canada and the USA with minimum purchase:

Orders over $150 CAD (before taxes) are shipped free via Canada Post Expedited Parcel (within Canada) or via Canada Post Tracked Packet - USA. All orders include tracking.

  • Canada Post Expedited Parcel - Delivery times are usually within the 2-5 business day range with this service, depending on the state of the world and the seasonal mail volume.

  • Canada Post Tracked Packet - USA - Delivery times are usually within the 5-10 business day range with this service, depending on the state of the world and the seasonal mail volume. Any applicable customs, duties and taxes (if any) are the responsibility of the customer - not The Wooly Cauldron.

Free local pickup:

I now offer free pickup in North Bay. You can select this option at checkout and I will follow up with an email after receiving your order to arrange a convenient pickup time for both of us.

Shipping to Canadian addresses:

We offer $15 CAD flat-rate shipping (including tracking) to any Canadian address via Canada Post Expedited Parcel. Delivery times are usually within the 2-5 business day range with this service, depending on the state of the world and the seasonal mail volume.

Shipping to U.S. addresses:

We offer $15 CAD flat-rate shipping (including tracking) to any U.S. address via Canada Post Tracked Packet - USA. Delivery times are usually within the 5-10 business day range with this service, depending on the state of the world and the seasonal mail volume. Any applicable customs, duties and taxes (if any) are the responsibility of the customer - not The Wooly Cauldron.

Shipping to all other addresses:

We now offer $75 CAD flat-rate shipping (including tracking) to addresses outside of the US and Canada. While I have found that most tracked international shipments cost between $70 - $80 CAD, should actual shipping rates will be far in excess of $75 CAD we will reach out to you with an exact quote to see if you would prefer to cancel your order or pay the additional shipping costs. Any applicable customs, duties and taxes (if any) are the responsibility of the customer - not The Wooly Cauldron.


Refunds/Exchanges

We offer refunds only for the following:

  1. International shipping charge of 75$ CAD far exceeded actual shipping costs and order is cancelled.

Exchanges will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and only if the following conditions are met:

  1. Yarn must be in re-saleable condition:

    • in original hank form - not wound into a ball or partly worked;

    • with label intact;

    • no stains, dirt, pet hair or odour.

  2. Customer agrees to pay all additional shipping fees, including return and reshipment costs. The only exception to this policy is if you were sent the wrong product by mistake (ex. DK instead of Sock weight).

  3. Exchange must be arranged via email within 14 days of product delivery. All sales are considered final 14 days after the product was delivered at your door or post office.

Exchanges will not be granted for the following reasons:

  1. Colour variances: This is standard practice. Indie dyers follow recipes to reproduce their colourways, but ultimately each skein/hank/ball of yarn or fibre should be considered a one-of-a-kind piece of art! If you want the matchiest of skeins for a larger project, contact me for a custom order so that all of your yarn can be dyed in one batch.

  2. I changed my mind: Might we suggest you give this yarn as a gift instead? Make someone else’s day!

If you find yourself in a situation that is not addressed by the above policies and are unsatisfied with your purchase, please email us so that we can come to a fair resolution for both parties. Ultimately, we want you to be happy!
