Cinder & Ink: Cinder & Ink is a silvery-grey tonal colourway with splashes and speckles of inky blue-black throughout. It would be well-suited as a main colour for a sweater or as a neutral to highlight a flashier or variegated yarn.

• 100% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester wool yarn

• Fingering/Sock weight (4-ply)

• 1 x 100g (4 oz) = 400m (440yds)

• Gauge: 7-8 sts per inch on US size 3 needles (3.25mm)

  If you are planning to knit socks, I recommend going down one or two needle sizes to create a denser fabric. This will increase the durability and lifespan of your socks, but will also make them slightly thicker and less slouchy.

I knit Fingering weight socks on a US size 1 needle, and DK weight on a US size 3 or 4.

Even though this yarn is treated to prevent felting, I always recommend hand-washing and laying flat to dry to make your knits last longer!
